> EXACTLY AS LAME AS IT SOUNDS salutations; i'm kel! :] i'm one of many new webmasters with a fascination for retro technology and the old internet. i'm a complete newbie at coding, but it's a fun challenge.

i have a soft spot for old RPGs, especially those in the psych horror genre! i've also sorted these reverse-alphabetically, so the bolded ones are the ones dearest to me -- except for undertale/deltarune, which has been a special interest since it came out! i'm also critical of all i consume.

as you could maybe tell from the URL, i'm a huge fan of old tech! i'm very interested in animatronic history, especially the rockafire explosion, and i love robots/AI as a rule, but i'm still partial to the older kinds, from AIBO to furby to ASIMO. i think their clunkiness and weirdness is relatable and kind of endearing. some of my favorite fictional robots/AI are GLaDoS, shodan, and HAL! And queen and spamton, i guess, if they count...

i'm also really into retrofuturism, vaporwave, mallcore, old web, cyberpunk, solarpunk, and frutiger aero aesthetics. sovietwave, webcore, analogcore and all that weird aesthetic stuff that focuses on the excess of consumption of the 80s-10s, or just the tech of the time, prospectively imagined or real, rules.

hypothetically, i also enjoy bushcraft and survivalism, even though as a super arthritic cripple i'm not very good at it. i don't touch grass as much as i should, or even get out much, but theoretically i could make a five-star shelter. definitely...

finally, i've been learning japanese on-and-off for a while now, but i'm still at the "can recognize grammatical tenses and sucking at kanji and keigo" phase. でも、明日も頑張ります!
